These watches are still made by us though we now use 24 jewel high performance automatic movements. The W10 was issued to the military between 19 when it was replaced by the quartz G10 although a number of MWC W10's were purchased for a military contract in 1990 as referred to in the book "The Concise Guide to Military Timepieces". Our GG-W-113 is based an a specification set out in October 1962 when the US Government set down a specification for infantry watches which became known as GG-W-113 this was MIL-W-3818B which replaced MIL-W-3818A from March 1956. This recreation is based closely on the original World War Two design from 1943. The A-11 was among the first military watches to be equipped with a sweep second hand. Our classic range consists of a range of retro models as based on historic models made by ourselves of other manufacturers in the period up to the 1970's.
